Extinction Rebellion invites you on March 21st and 22nd 2026 in Paris - the day before the second round of municipal elections - to take part in a major mass mobilization to make our voices heard loud and clear against the oppressive and destructive capitalist system! On March 15th and 22th, the French will elect municipal councilors for nearly 35,000 towns and villages across France. These elections are taking place in a very particular context: the normalization of the far right and the rise of fascism worldwide, the president's denial of democracy during the last legislative elections, irresponsible political decisions regarding the global ecological crisis (climate, biodiversity, pesticides, plastic pollution, etc.), extremely violent police repression of all social movements during Emmanuel Macron's terms in office, the abdication of responsibility by Western countries for genocides in Palestine, Sudan, and Myanmar, as well as for other armed conflicts such as those in Ukraine and the Congo, and for the Gen Z uprising against the existing system around the world, etc. That is why it is our duty, as citizens, to reclaim democracy and impose common sense on our elected officials! This form will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. All data is stored in Switzerland and will remain confidential. The action will begin on March 21. You must arrive in Paris no later than Friday evening, March 20th. You can stay with activists for free if needed.
